Dreams...
I had my very first crazy pregnancy dream last night. I can't even remember all of the details but I remember waking up a few times thinking... seriously?!? The many times I was up going to the bathroom through out the night, I thought for sure I would get into a new dream, but no luck. But... at the end of the dream, I delivered our baby and it was ...another boy. I wonder if this is a little insight to what we might be having and my mind is trying to help me prepare for another boy in our house. We will have to wait and see. Hopefully we will get to find out the sex of the baby by the end of December. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the baby will cooperate.

Pregnancy update...
I am now 13 weeks and I will have my next appointment on Monday, December 6th (14 weeks). I have started to feel a little flutter every once in a while beginning in week 12. I thought this was way too early but I am finding out that after a few babies, you begin to see and feel things a lot sooner. I now have a baby bump. I have been trying to hide it but it is no use anymore. I am still in my normal clothing for tops but I have moved to maternity pants for comfort. The morning sickness has started to subside and now only occurs every once in a while. Last night I had my first weird craving of pickles and cheese. Although it tasted good at the time, my tummy was not happy with me afterwards. Lesson learned!!
I am still stressing out about this pregnancy and I worry constantly. This seems to be in my nature. I think I will begin to feel more comfortable after this next appointment. After my 14th week appointment, I will start going to the doctor every 2 weeks so she can check my cervix and hopefully prevent any bed rest like I had with Aiden. To me, this is a blessing in disguise. I will get to have an ultrasound each appointment so I can see the progress and see the baby every 2 weeks.
Thankfully, I haven't gained any weight yet (although you can't tell because of the baby bump) due to the sickness but I am sure that will change soon.
The boys are really excited and are beginning to ask a lot of questions. Aiden is very curious as to how the baby gets out of Mommy's tummy. I am trying to be very vague right now with my answers until I can figure out what the appropriate response is. I am not sure how much to tell a 7 and 5 year old about the birthing process. Most adults don't really want to know what truely happens.
So... 13 weeks down and quite a few more to go before we get to meet this new baby.

He's back!!
Our elf is back. He made his first stop in our Christmas tree after his long stay at the North Pole. The boy's couldn't remember his name so they wanted to give him a new name this year. He is now known as Buddy. I think this will be much easier for them to remember in the future. We are excited to see where Buddy decides to land each morning after his nightly update with Santa. We will keep you posted!

Unexpected visitor...
This weekend we had an unexpected visitor....
That's right folks... a 3rd dog! This is Buddy (as the boys named him) and he looks like Brodie's lost baby brother. He is a pure bred Lab and is probably around 1 year old. He is very sweet and interacted great with the boys.
A little background on how Buddy made it to our home....
The boys took the dogs for a walk on Sunday afternoon. Now, this was against the advice of Mommy since the last walk the dogs went on resulted in Brodie visiting the doggie ER and costing us an arm and leg. We were told that he is just too old for such strenuous activity. But back to the walk... they went in the woods across from our neighborhood and some how ended up in the back of a gated community. I thought they had been gone for a while and then I got the phone call. Brodie is not doing well and I need to come pick them up. Again, they were in the gated community which I don't have the combination for and of course, since it is Sunday, there is not a guard that I can beg to let me in to save my family. So, I ended up sitting at the front entrance until they found their way to me. I received a few more phone calls that were a little more frantic before they arrived and the last phone call I received quickly said "we found a lost dog and he is with us". What??? The boys arrived at the car walking Tucker and their new dog Buddy and Ryan is carrying 100lb Brodie. Brodie looked like he was on the verge of death again so we quietly got in the car and started for the house. Ryan was taking care of Brodie so I was left to figure out what to do with Buddy. I immediately put him outside since I know nothing about him and then went about my business. In the meantime... Brodie is saved without visiting the ER and I begin to feel sorry for Buddy since it is beginning to get dark. So, Buddy is allowed in and man was he hyper!!
This is where Buddy must live at his house... on the couch. Ethan finds this funny since he knows that this is a big No-No.

I could not get him to stay off of the couch. We don't allow our dogs to lay on it but they obviously do while we are out. We all tried to take up the entire couch but Buddy would either scoot us out of the way or he would end up just laying on me!
We did enjoy having Buddy at the house (especially since I knew this was going to be temporary). He was very playful and the boys miss out on that since our dogs are old and pretty much lay around 24/7. By the end of the night, I had decided that I would like to trade Tucker in and keep Buddy, if that were possible. I have lived with our dogs for 8 years and they do not care for me but Buddy actually liked me. This made me happy! But... after a long night of little sleep (since Buddy is younger and more hyper, he decided he wanted to play at 2:30am) Ryan got busy figuring out how to locate his parents. He was able to take him to the local vet to look for a micro chip and reunite him with his Mommy! I was happy that I no longer had a 3rd dog but a little sad to see Buddy leave. Farewell our dear friend!

FSU Update
Last weekend we went to Tallahassee for an FSU game. This is the first game that Aiden has been to and the first game that Ethan can remember. We had a great time even though it was a little too cold for Mommy.
We arrived at the campus Friday afternoon for a tour of the stadium. It was very interesting to see the behind the scenes of where the players workout, do physical therapy and have their meetings. I learned that their theater style meeting room is actually designed by the size of each player. The smallest players sit in the front rows where the seats are made smaller and as you go up, the seats get larger to accomadate the bigger boys. I think I sat in a big boy chair. Before I learned the layout, I was wondering if I had shrunk.
Ryan was like a kid in a candy store. When we were walking through the gym, we even got to take a peek at one of the coaches pumping some iron. At the end of the tour we ended up on the field where we could take some pictures and run around. Although, we were warned not to touch the paint in the end zone or we would go to FSU jail?!? I was ready to leave shortly after the warning because having a 7 and 5 year old running near the forbidden paint about gave me a panic attack.
Then after visiting the stadium we got to cheer and send off the football players before they headed to the hotel to prep for the big game.
Not sure who this player is but the boys thought it was so cool that he towered over them. As you can see, the players are all eating on their way out so sometimes there hands were too full to high five. We ended up warning the boys to watch where they try and high five if their hands were full since we didn't want to injure a player before the big game.
Can you see the excitement??
And... how about Ethan??
Aiden... not so much. He liked the cheering, band and people watching.

On Saturday, we meet up with some of Ryan's friends tailgating before the game and the boys had a blast. We were on the intramural field so the boys could run till their hearts were content. They wrestled and threw the football with anyone that would play with them. They were the only kids in the group so all of the guys gave them a lot of attention which I appreciate, because they demanded it! The boys love Ryan's fraternity brothers. They rarely see them but for some reason... they never forget them.
Then we were off to the game...
Ethan was so interested in the game. I think he asked his Daddy a hundred questions.Aiden... not so much. He liked the cheering, band and people watching.
Overall, we had a great weekend. It was nice to get away for a little bit and enjoy some friends and family time. We even had a few interventions throughout the weekend. I wonder... where do you put a kid in time out when you are staying in a hotel???
(I will have a separate post with more pictures from the weekend when I can remember to download from our camera)
Plus One
It is official and I am finally ready to announce... We are expecting another baby!!
Tomorrow, I will be 11 weeks and I have had my second appointment this past Monday. I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat which was very comforting. The Dr. said the heartbeat was very strong and the baby was moving everywhere. I am not sure how much longer I could have hidden the pregnancy since I seem to already be showing!! I have only gained 1lb so far (due to the morning/all day sickness) but I guess the more kids you have... the sooner you show.
We are all very excited and we are praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Aiden... what a mess!
It looks as if Aiden has had a rough day and a tornado has hit his surrounding area!!
On a side note... Aiden has requested Jesus' cell phone number so he can have a little chat. If anyone has it, please send it our way.
Halloween update...
We had a busy weekend! As always... we started Saturday with a soccer game and then went to breakfast with Chad and Steph. This turned out to be very eventful because Ethan had a major nose bleed that took us both out of commission for a while. We recovered long enough to finish breakfast but the bleeding returned as soon as we got home.
Then we painted our pumpkins...
And then it was time to do a little trunk or treating at the Orangefest. I wasn't as impressed this year since they had downsized but they boys had a great time anyways.
Mario and Luigi decided they needed to take a nap before the festivities began...
Here they are awake and ready to begin
